For fans of Volkswagen's Jetta, 2016 is going to be an exciting year.
Many long-rumored features will be arriving on the German automaker's compact
car.
One of the more exciting new features in the 2016 Jetta is the arrival of the MIB II Infotainment system. With lower trim levels, it will come with a 5-inch touchscreen, while higher trims will get the 6.3-inch model. The system brings a higher level of smartphone integration to the Jetta. Models equipped with app-connect will be able to integrate Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. The MIB II will make smartphone pairing easier then ever for Volkswagen owners.
There will also be several driver-assistance innovations coming to the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta.
- Adaptive Cruise Control will use radar to
maintain a set speed and distance from the vehicle in front of you.
- Forward Collision Warning/Autonomous Emergency
Braking can warn drivers of impending front-end collisions, and engage the
brakes to avoid it.
- Automatic Post-Collision Braking System
applies brakes in the event of an accident to limit further impact damage.
