The 2016 Toyota Sienna – Best New Car for Growing Families

2016 Toyota Sienna
I like the idea of a minivan for work and for driving my kids because I'm what many folks call a "sports mom." I was impressed with advanced information about the 2016 Toyota and its top safety rating. My husband and I shopped the 2016 Sienna at the Olympia Auto Mall, a great place to look for all makes and models of vehicles.

I chose the 2016 Toyota Sienna based on reviews and Car and Driver naming the Sienna “Best New Car for Growing Families”.

We made the decision to check out the Sienna along with other models. We liked the room in the 2016 Sienna along with the all-wheel drive, six-speed automatic transmission and V-6 3.5-liter engine with 266 horsepower. Toyota also offers the Sienna in a Hybrid version.

The exterior features LED headlamps and four entries including the sliding passenger door. The tailgate opens two ways with automatic controls.

The interior of 2016 is outstanding with telescoping and tilt steering wheel, an easy to see dashboard, three zone climate control, height adjustable seats, rearview camera and the Bluetooth connections. I want the complete Entune infotainment and navigation system with the new 6.1 inch touchscreen. We can also have our own WiFi hotspot.

I also wanted the extra the safety package with the lane departure, blind-spot and rear cross traffic warning systems and parking assist. A sunroof is nice but the heated seats are mandatory for Northwest winters. The keyless entry and start are nice features. Best of all, I can carry six passengers in comfort or I can put the back seat down for Lacrosse equipment, camping and fishing gear or golf clubs.

Outlandishly Stylish and Very Functional – The New 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander

2016 Mitsubishi Outlander

With a full model redesign still visible in the rearview mirror, you've got to hand it Mitsubishi for taking the bull by the horns and making major changes to the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. Even though they are largely cosmetic updates to the exterior, it's clear that Mitsubishi wants to keep your attention on this stylish and functional vehicle. If you are looking for a crossover SUV or CUV as the Outlander is tagged, this is one of the 2016 new cars in Olympia that is worth checking out.

From the new redesigned model that arrived in 2014, Mitsubishi has updated this year's Outlander with over 100 exciting new improvements, from grille work up front to a new continuously variable transmission inside. Acceleration and efficiency are improved with the 4-cylinder delivering 31 mpg on the highway.

The Outlander remains one of the only crossovers on the market to offer standard third-row seating, which is a nice luxury. Mitsubishi brings back both the 2.4L four-cylinder engine that those looking for improved gas mileage will prefer, while a 3.0L V6 option grants the 2016 Outlander a 2,000-lb. increase in towing capacity, to a total of 3,500 lbs.

Across the board, the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander also received platform improvements to its handling and ride. Add in the Mitsubishi "Fuse" infotainment system, bringing Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity standard to all trim levels, and it is hard to argue that the Outlander isn't one of the most feature-packed entries in the segment.

If you've been on the lookout for a new vehicle, check out the Outlander. It is the most affordable Crossover Utility Vehicle with 3 rows of seats and plenty of pickup.

Cruise by the Auto Mall today to get a closer look at the new 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander.

Fun and Functionality – Check out the New Mazda CX-5

2016 Mazda CX-5

Elegantly styled, tremendously functional and exceptionally fuel efficient, the new Mazda CX-5 – an SUV crossover vehicle recently introduced by the Japanese automaker – makes an excellent choice for any new car buyer in the Olympia, WA area. Here are the most notable reasons why:

Superior Performance – While a slightly smaller – but still quite nimble – 155-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available, driving aficionados will want to choose the 184-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder with standard front-wheel drive or the optional all-wheel drive – each comes equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. All with 24/30 mpg.

New Styling – While the 2016 Mazda CX-5 is not a complete remakes of the 2015 model, it does benefit from a revised suspension, added sound insulation for a quieter cabin, an updated digital information interface as well as minor exterior styling tweaks.

Advanced Safety Features – These features include the newest generation of LED headlights – no more of those glaring xenon ones – plus technological innovations like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert. In addition, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity is now standard in every model.

Functional by Design – With 64.8 cubic feet of cargo space and the ability to haul 1065 lbs of weight, this sporty SUV crossover can still function as a great family car. There is plenty of room for the kids as well as groceries and the occasional large purchase from the appliance or hardware store.

Curved and Sporty – the new 2016 Nissan Murano

2016 Nissan Murano

Ever since bursting on the scene in 2003, the Nissan Murano has been popular with consumers looking for a vehicle in the crossover SUV segment. By combining style, plenty of passenger room and a good mix of efficiency and power, there's no secret why. When the Murano arrives along with the other 2016 new cars in Olympia, chances are it will remain a popular choice.

As other manufacturer's entries in the segment have caught up with the Murano, Nissan has once again taken to making bold strokes when redesigning the exterior. Futuristic lines, curved and sporty, define the outside of the new Murano. There's the floating roof, plenty of chrome accents and winged headlights that give Nissan's crossover a newly distinguished look.

Inside, Nissan's zero-gravity seats make their debut. The Murano even doubles down, placing them not only up front, but in the second row as well. These seats make even long drives comfortable. An increase in size over last year gives passengers a bit more elbow room as well.

Under the hood, a 3.5L V6 continues to power the Murano. It's got plenty of power, putting out 260 horsepower. EPA-estimated fuel economy checks in at 24 mpg combined, which is pretty average for the class.

The usual sportiness of the Murano has been softened a bit when it comes to handling. Nissan softened the suspension giving the new 2016 Murano a smoother, more luxurious ride.

Just like 2003, the Nissan Murano has again seized the lead in the crossover segment. If you are in the market for a new vehicle in the Olympia area, cruise by the Olympia Auto Mall today and take the new 2016 Nissan Murano for a test drive.

2016 Jeep Wrangler – Your Off Road Experience Just Got Better!

Jeep owners are a separate breed. We don't wait for a nice sunny day to go exploring new territory. Rain, sleet, or snow does not keep us from our destination. The 2016 Jeep Wrangler is up to the challenge.

2016 Jeep Wrangler
The exterior features a bit more of a classy appearance with the emphasis on reducing vibration and noise during off- road driving. The windshield is fixed rather than fold-down to assist in the effort. However, the classic Jeep toughness is still intact.

2016 Jeep Wrangler
Interior design also has more of a luxurious appearance than in previous years. The controls are placed within easy reach. The last thing I want to worry about during trail driving is reaching for knobs and buttons located distantly on the dashboard. Jeep has minimized this concern with the upgraded interior. Included is a military grade navigation system and top notch entertainment system for an even more enjoyable trip.

Plenty of power is provided by the 285 horsepower 3.6 liter V6 engine. If you are like me, the 6 speed manual transmission gives you a greater feeling of control, but a 6 speed automatic is also available. Four-wheel drive is standard as you would expect.

This Jeep strives to make the road trip just as pleasurable as the off-road experience. If you are new to Jeep, you will want to test drive this capable SUV before making any buying decision. Current Jeep owners may want to consider upgrading in 2016 after taking a good look at the Wrangler.
