2018 Kia Stinger

Kia has branched into sports-sedan territory with its new four-door 2018 Stinger. It was designed as a thoroughbred rear-wheel-drive sports sedan with an aggressive stance. Performance, styling, and practicality, all combine to make KIA’s first entry into the sports performance sedan category a worthy effort.

Two versions are available, the standard model features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 255 hp. This engine is very smooth and responsive and is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

If you are looking for a sportier and performance minded feel, then the Stinger GT is for you. The GT model is powered by a 3.3-liter turbo V6 that produces 365 hp. With an available all-wheel drive option, Kia now has a true sports sedan in its line-up.

The interior is very clean and stylish, featuring round dash vents, toggle switches, and nice satin-chromed buttons. The steering wheel is stitched leather and feels great in your hands. The driver’s seat has four-way adjustable settings including lumbar support. With traditional knobs and buttons, the Stinger has a classic, yet modern look and feel.

2018 Ford Mustang

As good as previous models have been, the 2018 Ford Mustang is even better. With revisions in styling, performance, and technology, this year’s version is quite impressive.

The V6 is no longer an option, replaced by a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. The 5.0-liter V8 is still available, with both engine packages having the option of a 10-speed automatic transmission, or a six-speed manual. The V8 has been re-designed to produce more power and better fuel economy.

Two body styles are available, the coupe, and the very popular convertible.  When a conversation comes up about muscle cars, the Mustang is always one of the first thoughts. The 2018 offering from Dearborn is no exception. The GT V8 boasts 0-60 mph time at 4.9 seconds, just a half-second more than a Corvette and Porsche 911. It attains this by having received an improved HP rating from 435 to 460 for 2018. The GT also offers a sports performance handling package that features options like:

• Brembo brakes
• Stiffer suspension
• Pirelli P Zero tires
• Torsen limited-slip axle
• Traction control

If you don’t need to get to the store that quickly, the V-6 model still offers plenty of performance, with 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds while still maintaining 25 MPGs.

2018 Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V is the best-selling car in its segment. That did not stop Honda from making changes to the 2018 model. Better fuel economy, better handling, and even nicer interior finishes, make this their model best yet.
