Exterior and interior styling
The styling of the Ford Fusion has received a slight upgrade, with a reshaped grille and headlamps. The interior of the car has also been upgraded, with a more modern gear box design featuring a rotary dial to replace the previous center-console-mounted transmission lever. In addition, the Sports model will now feature front bucket seats.
Mechanics and functionality
The S and SE 2017 Ford Fusion models will again have the standard 175-horsepower 4-cylinder, while higher end models will offer Ford’s turbocharged EcoBoost engine to deliver more horsepower. All hybrid models will switch to an 8-speed automatic transmission for better response and mileage.
